Like "real" stained glass. Not just colored glass cut and put into a pattern, but actually using glass as the base and paint as the main medium to bring images to lifelike perfection. I'm not a painter by any means, but life is a lesson that keeps on giving - and while I am still able to learn - I will.

This is our latest tool added to the studio. It is a Hot Shot 16G glass kiln. We chose this kiln because it runs off of 120v and we would not have to make any electrical changes to our existing panel. Also - and best feature yet - is that is is "cool touch". We all know how hot a kiln can get - not this one. You can actually run your hand on it when it is at it's highest temperature. Has many safety features and I can monitor it with an app on my cell phone.

Did you know that we sew..?? Well we do! I do my own alterations, my own embroidery and quilting. I have been sewing for sooo many years it is just second nature.  That is how Cimply Broken started out...it was originally called "Cimply Sewn" but I became addited to glass. ( It happens! )
